Bramley was thought up when I was messing around thinking up relations for the mane six.

I had a silly idea of him appearing in her books and through that is how Twilight and Rainbow Dash figured out Daring was dating Applejack's Uncle Bramley.

This was going to be part of the book where the two got seperated in a temple then when they meet up, Bramley would return her hat and it would be a sweet little moment.
