lol. To be honest as "classic" as Stairway to Heaven is, I haven't ever listened to it. I only know the basic tune at the start, no lyrics or even the melody. So it's pure coincidence and unintended :)

I can sort of see it now I think about it though.

Unintentional or not, it's no bad thing by any means. I also sung those lyrics to your song. They fit, but it's not surprising. While not being identical to Stairway to Heaven, the progression matches up. :D

It's got a melodic quality very similar to "Stairway to Heaven", yet stands up well as its own piece. Very nicely done! :3

Several people made the connection, and honestly I never did. It's the picking pattern... I never even thought of it until people started saying so! Weid. I dont really know the song either :s! Never listened to it. XD! thanks for the comment :) x

Am I completely fail that I didn't really find this piece all THAT similar to Stairway to Heaven? It actually reminded me of a scene from the Princess Bride. Either way, very nicely done; simplistic, and beautiful.
