Self indulgent reference for my Good Omens sona, Cross.

Here's some basic info for y'all!

Gender: Nonbinary (They/Them)
Species: Demon
Familiar: Black Mamba

Allegiance: None
Optional Traits: Tail, wings, and familiar
Residence: Earth

Bio: Cross was cast out of Heaven by the archangels, though, like the rogue demon Crowley, they did not intend to fall. Unlike most other demons, they did not fall because they rebelled against God, but rather because they were inherently a 'loose-canon' per say, and often questioned the choices of the archangels. Despite falling, Cross did not develop an allegiance to hell, and was subsequently sent to Earth to keep them from causing unnecessary trouble for hell. Cross didn't particularly object to this decision, and has lived among the humans ever since.

Although they no longer have allegiance to Heaven, they maintain their faith in God, and they try to act according to His will, which they believe to be entirely separate from Heaven's will. Whether they are correct about this belief is unclear, especially considering that demons are believed to be unforgivable, but Cross has never been one to follow the rules. They may be fallen, but they are of neither Heaven nor hell; they are of something entirely different.

Notable History:
-Resided in London during the start of the punk scene (1975-1985), where they were an avid fan of the Sex Pistols.
-May or may not be responsible for certain popular conspiracy theories throughout the years.
-Fan of Steve Irwin, one of the few humans who had their same appreciation for deadly serpents.
-Drives a lime green Jeep Wrangler.
-Feels kinship with reptiles and cats, though most dogs are inherently wary of them.
-Will probably jump into the zoo's hyena exhibit to see how the yeens respond.

As such, this character may be a persona of me, but they are part of a fictional universe that is not meant to represent reality. Idc if you don't like Good Omens, a lot of Christians don't, but I personally love the book/show, and it's very important to me, so keep your negativity to yourself. Yes I could've made my GO sona an angel, but I chose to make them a demon who was rejected by Heaven as a way to sort of reconcile how I'm often rejected by other Christians because of my appearance and identity. You may have made me the bad guy, but I refuse to be the opposition you think I am.*
