And also- It might not make sense either. |D It seemed funny to me at the time, but now I'm not so sure. Oh well.

Basically, when Figment isn't taking over people's body's, he's in his own dark dimension where nothing really happens. >_> I imagine he goes stir crazy from time to time. Technically, he can take any form, depending on whose body he's using, but when he's in his own little dimension, since Gouji is his default host, his default form is the same.

He can still do things in this world, but usually anything physical is a figment of his imagination, and will fade within a few minutes. (Haha...figments of Figment's imagination. >> *is shot for a lame play on words*)

If I've confused you, ask. xD Figment is a tough character to understand....
