i am busy deffending my house from illegal constructions
no joke. Since SEVERAL days, people appears by night and tries to build literally nar my house. After call the municipality around...by now 16 times, i decided to stop talking, because when the structure is done and magically the kids-shields appears, nobody will remove them from there

The Fire always works. But are insistent, and the police just apepared today morning. DAYS of delay. Managed to take a photo to show what survived
Apparently they gave up, because a group of persons arrived 2 h ago to remove what survived.
If isn´t the case, will burn all until transform it into ashes. will take ANY risk, because casually when this people appeared, the 2 houses of the left was robbed.

when i am silent in FA is because something happends

nope! actually , that materials are froma destroyed ...i don´t know the word in english... whores store? that was working at 50 mts of my house, in the hoill, where also was drugs sell, until the police destroyed it in like 2014. Now some people wants to use them to build a "house" literally against mine (the one where you can see the clothes that i placed outside 3 h ago), and that DEFINITLY will not happen. starts with a weak structure, later arrives with materials, and then you have lot of people there request you about water, electricity, or directly climbing and stoling over your house. we are calling to the authorities since DAYS ago with another neighboors, but as nobody did nothing, i decided to stop talking and start burning.
in my city, other would simple SHOOT to the intruder, not to their structures... sadly can´t post it here because are from newspapers, but are thousands of samples of that happends here when nobody does nothing

and when you want to check again, have a lot of unkwnown people going here and there the entire day, watching what, where and when aboout your life, house and car, and the robbers starts. already happened near my house in the 90´s. that´s why i acted so directly

I wonder what the perspective is of the people trying to build here? Why take such risks? Sadly, since they lack internet and social networking presence, we can't really know their perspective, can we?
Living here in Mexico, I've seen firsthand the wealth inequality and what it does. This is a playground for the superrich, and it drives people into poverty which drives them to theft. But the problem isn't those who steal, because they steal because they have to because everything is so expensive because of the rich people here. No, the problem is a damn American who came here, founded a corporation that has government control over all things having to do with marine tourism, and he turned it into a place where the rich can play but the poor must beg.
I consider my own perspective here very carefully, being a white American on a very large sailing yacht. But I am poor as dirt, poorer than many of the Mexicans in this marina who are spending their money earned from slaving for those rich people. They don't need to build lean-to sheds next to my house to survive, but there are many people who would love to have even just a tiny portion of the relative wealth I have. And I'm the poorest person in this entire marina, hands down!
In this context, I hate myself for my relative privilege, and very much understand how people who are poorer than I am feel about people like me.

Argentina, and also my city, have literally dozen of thousands of people that thinks that can get the services by free, literally stealing the water, power and sometimes even the gas, depite is super dangerous. Just as sample, we have a zone with no les than 15000 guys that doesn´t pay for basic services, but have in their houses shining VW Amaroks , Direct Tv antennas over every house and of course they have not a nokia 1100 as cellphone, always Samsung J9 or even i pods. could swear that also have PS4 inside thei hourse too, thing that i never will have because i pay taxes for my house, the car, and light/water/gas. i talk about thousands dozen pesos . There are poors too of course, REAL ones, and they´re guys that simply doesn´t care about pay, because some other idiot (my family and me into them) will pay the taxes, that actually INCLUDES a tax to cover the deficit that they cause.
Time ago, a group of people started to build a wood house at like 50 mts of mine, on the hill. at the back of where i took this image. nobody did nothing. months ago, was a place where you was able to buy drugs and sex every night, when sometimes the clients ended into knives or even shooting fights, and of course i heard that every night and had to go to study (in that time) bad sleept, tired, and worried for the safety of my house
fortunatly after several YEARS , the police arrived and destroyed it. that debris are the ones that you can see here, against my house. so fast as i saw people moving them literally against that wall, i said NOT AGAIN
maybe are real poors with good intentions, but the risk is too big in the second city of the country with murders for inhabitants percent
