I don't see how this makes him a scumbag. It's within the bounds of his relationship with his wife, Enzo and Kathy have had relations before, so making a pass isn't out of normal acceptance. The only think that makes him a bit of a prick is stealing that kiss. He deserved that punch.

Yeah but still...his wife’s sister...seems kinda scummy all around especially when his wife has such a big problem with jealousy towards him using her for a painting. I mean, if you know it’s a problem, yet go with it anyway, even Kathy has to sock him one for kissing her and mentioned that he was married to her sister....that to me puts the scum back into scumbag lol

I get your point, but he's not the only one at fault here. If you're the jealous type why would you have an open relationship? Seems like the wife/sister wants the best of both worlds, a guy who will be loyal to her and her alone and the freedom to screw whoever she wants. If he's a scumbag for making a pass at the sister he's had relations with before then his wife is a manipulative bitch. Oh, and to mention the painting thing, he it was hinted at that the wife has a problem with him painting anyone but her, that's controlling behavior. She needs her ass kicked to the curb. IMO he married the wrong sister. To concede a bit, that marriage is a bit scummy.

One wonders just how long he's been wanting to try seducing her, and even a potent punch to the face isn't deterring him. She's far more patient than many would be with him. Good for her for sicking to her guns and knowing this can't lead to anything good, whereas he's making a pretty bad impression.

It's technically canon. It takes place before where the comic is supposed to start (when it starts up auuugh.) Gavin's about 12 years old here.
