After drying for a few days, here is this evening's sharper image of the badge sized oil painting I am attempting.
The eyes are ugly. >:C

I suggest just keep layering =D the eyes will fix themselves when you put the next layer on.
I really like that light patch and the way that the fur really sticks out realisticly. The only thats that bothers me is the green patch under the little critters front leg but im sure once its layer more itll ground the subject.
I really look forward to seeing this when its finished ^-^

The eyes may be a litttttle too bright... can tone them down- a bit more sienna... they may look a bit better to you. Also, once the highlights get in there, they'll look much better. The shadow over the right eye looks a little... glaring, but you may be intending to do something with that?
Seriously, it's looking fantastic. :)

It is a very intriguing picture, Vantid. Especially, gauging from the texture of the canvas, it is a very small painting. I'll agree with the rest of your commenters that I do not see anything "ugly" about his eyes. I suppose that if they looked like pineapples then I'd say "yeah they're ugly". Okay, now maybe as they were shown gives him something of a sinister personality, but hey, we can't all be characters out of a Disney animated film.
