I keep advocating for swapping the legality of alcohol and marijuana because well, let's face it. There are innumerable domestic violence and child abuse cases that would have never existed if it weren't for alcohol. But not a single incident of such violence can be directly linked to marijuana. Thousands of avoidable car accidents happen at the hands of alcohol, but not one has happened because of marijuana. Wouldn't it then make sense for alcohol to be the illegal substance?
I guess the powers-that-be require SOMETHING to blame and demonize, but I'd rather that thing be alcohol than marijuana.
Yet everyone I've mentioned this to thinks I'm a moron for suggesting it. :/
