Talia returns, but this time she brought others and is having an off time from work at her farm. Story time? Story time. Hey, leave a comment if you by any chance are reading it and are interesting in me drawing more stuff from Talia's Farm or expanding the lore, okay?

They formed a group of childhood friends that refused to grow up, but were forced to nonetheless.
Talia's time came when her parents died in an accident. She and her siblings inherited the farm, but both older brother and sister, living in the city by then, had little interest in keeping the family business afloat. Horsegirl was adamant to get the farm back on its hoofs, and she managed to talk her siblings into helping her financially under condition that in the future she'd buy their shares. Under her eye the business grew and the money kept coming, she isn't wealthy enough yet to buy out her siblings, but there's no bad blood between them and they even come visit with their own families from time to time. For many people in town she's still little Talia, a ringleader of bunch of rascals and troublemakers, but at the same time she's a respected member of society and an employer for quite a few families. This doesn't stop her from fooling around with old friends, occasionally taking a break from work to get drunk and goof around.
Harris never had it easy, but with his friends he could pretend for a moment it was. His family was always poor in this dignified, limbo sense of poor, when they always managed to put food on the table, but the house, furniture and clothing was always meticulously cleaned to hide that they were slowly deteriorating. There would be the day they'd actually be in trouble, but his parents always fought for yet another day to stand tall against the world. Their son was carefree and reckless, always causing troubles and inciting small rebellions against what he saw as their passive attitude. The wake-up call came when his father started drinking, back then Harris was big enough to stand against him when he was aggressive and once or twice he had to defend his mother, but that evening was different. What started as throwing punches, ended up with a broken man crying into his son's shoulder, wailing about own helplessness. Horseboy started helping at the local workshop and added to the budget on condition that his old man would drop the bottle. At this point he's de facto owner of the workshop, his boss retiring and leaving everything to him, only taking part of the profits in a form of the rent for his building.
Bria was a special case. She discovered her sexuality early and it caused her as many problems as it presented solutions. She got in trouble in school for exposing herself to boys for money, almost caused one of the teachers she openly flirted with to be fired and finally made lot of rumours to circulate about her. She was also fascinated with Talia, who earned bad reputation in school for breaking someone's nose after she got in fight - and won - with not one, but three boys for comments they made about her friend. They became close friends, Bria often coming to Talia's parents' farm to help with work. Besides trying to get into spotted horsegirl's panties, she remained herself, often causing dramatic scenes in the town once she was out of school and found more people receptible to her advances. It's hard to say if she actually grew up, but ever since her father went abroad after work, the household was on her head as her mother just grew even more distant from the world. She never found a job that she stayed at, currently she earns extra money by proofreading other people's work.
Carlie was something different as well. She never belonged to the countryside, her parents were city-folk through and through, her mother a locally famous singer and her father a more niche jazzman. They met on a gig and fell for each other and soon enough she appeared. In a bold, back then, move, her father dropped his career to take care of her while her mother continued to perform. At some point, tired of mother's fame, they moved to the countryside where young Carlie met Talia and the gang, who all got free pass on making lighthearted jokes about city-girl and in exchange took care of anyone else who decided to be mean to her because of that. Much like Bria, she ended up developing a crush for Talia and ended up in weird love triangle with her and Harris, though the spotted girl thought it was the horseboy they were both aching after. Carlie's world turned upside down when the past caught up with her parents and the truth behind their sudden moving out from the city came out. Her mother had to deal with a particularly nasty fan, who followed her home, but he was no ordinary man. Long story short, her father killed a mobster during home invasion and the family had to be hastily moved for protection. A gang member stumbled upon them when visiting the town and her father, Harris' mom and Talia's father... did something about it, which became a local secret. Ever since, Carlie sits on needles, always nervous that the police will show at their doors, whether to arrest her father or order them to move out again.
