Ein is a pakkun lizard. He's a fantastical beast from a fantastical world. His kind has one purpose in life. Eating people whole! It's how they hunt and their primary defense mechanism! They wanted the countryside, slurping up anything that they can get their tongues on! Of course, most pakkun lizards are smaller than humans and a skilled adventurer can escape with just a few picks.
Ein is not most pakkun lizards. Not only is he bigger than a human, he's sentient. He's bigger than he should be, smarter than he should be, and he doesn't just eat for survival. Being sentient, ein has likes and dislikes just like a human. And he LIKES eating people. Not only do the wiggles feel amazing, it's the only way to make sure that a friend won't leave you. And Ein's a friendly lizard. But he's also a monster. He's all too used to people ending up afraid of him or trying to run away. It's his monster instinct to gobble people alive and friends can't leave him when they're snuggled all up inside.
But it's not so bad inside Ein, so he claims. After digestion, you don't end. He insists there's a whole nother world in him, a place where his meals can live a new life deep inside of him. The pakkun promises that it's a wonderful, safe place that he can play with all of his tummy friends in his thoughts and dreams, a place where they can enjoy being a part of wuch a wonderful lizard, a reward for giving their everythings to him. If it is true, there's certainly no way to check. No way other than adding to the layers of fat on that multi-colored gut. And then you'll be in no state to let anyone else know the truth.
Of course, even if this fate doesn't appeal to you, there's little chance of escape. To Ein, people are just meant to be eaten. It's easy for him to coax a shy prey willing with kisses, rubs and licks. Easy enough that he believes that everyone wants to be eaten deep down and if a prey's completely unwilling, all they need is to see how nice his tummy really is.
Ein can almost be considered innocent. There's no malice in him, no hatred even for the adventurers who try to slay him. He just wants friends. And eating them's the only way he knows to make sure they never, ever leave him. All he wants is for you to be his friend. His close, close friend.
((I absolutely adore Pakkun Lizards with all my heart. I have for a LONG time. This was an amazing trade from
Sparky the chu which I love with all my heart. Ein is super special to me.))
