SpringBeeArt! You can see their original post of it here; I was really happy with how vibrant this one turned out!
Ri’dasha was born to her Ohmes-raht mother and Cathay father; this was their second child, after their firstborn Suthay-raht, S’davi. Being raised primarily by one parent, Ri’dasha has always fostered a good relationship with her father. He took pride in the eagerness of his daughter to learn of the world, happily taking her on trading routes both inside and outside of Elsweyr, teaching her what he knew of the other races and cultures. As for her mother, Ri’dasha barely knew her. Only being present in her life for a short time, she disappeared, along with a hefty sum of valuables, with Ri’dasha’s father soon finding a hidden stash of bottles, reeking of skooma; likely, she stole valuables to pawn off for petty drinking money, and fled.
Born within a year of each other, Ri’dasha and her brother were inseparable. When their family traveled to Senchal on business, the two would wander the market stalls with what little coin they were allowed, purchasing a shiny bauble or a sweet mooncake to promptly battle over in typical sibling rivalry. Oftentimes, the two would watch the soldiers of a Khajiiti branch of the Dominion military; their bright and colorful Aldmeri armor catching their eyes like moths to a flame, particularly S’davi, who was enamoured with the look and swagger of the soldiers, spouting endless stories of his encounters with them to whoever would listen after returning home. Eventually, this fascination with the Dominion led to S’davi leaving the plantation to join their ranks when he came of age.
