He comes to her after a fight with his wife, kisses her, gropes her backside, and continues to try hooking up with her despite her giving him a hell of a punch to the face, now he wonders why she's not married yet, and I dunno, it kinda sorta comes across as if he was wondering why she's not married to him or him to her. Looks like he really never got over her at all, even despite marrying her sister and having a child with her.

Their relationship is complicated. He's basically her best friend, and there's still an attraction between them, but neither of them really loved the other. Enzo has known Kathy since she was in her late forties (like I replied to someone else, she's in her seventies here. Magi don't age.) and his personality never quite set well with her enough to make a relationship with. Enzo knows it and also knows if he spent his entire life around Kathy that their relationship would sour. (He's poly, and Kathy's monogamous.)

He's more wondering why she hasn't found someone to settle down with or why someone hasn't snatched her up. :3

Aaah, quite interesting. I do like the fact that nothing in the story so far even hints at magical stuff, focusing solely on the slice of life aspect and the character development and interactions. You've put a lot of thought into them and it shows.
