They’re nice beads of varying type - metal, semi-precious stone, and shell - glued to nickel-free posts. I’m pretty sensitive, and I haven’t had a problem with any of them. I used two layers of super glue; so, I’m thinking it should be pretty sturdy. And I didn’t even glue any of them to my fingers! Success!
