Pride commission for a friend on FB!
I quickly wanna mention the titel, "Genfødsel"
Genfødsel is Danish and means "Reborn" or "The Rebirth". The reason for this title, ties into the theme and message the commissioner wanted displayed in this artwork. It's a way to symbolise how they got "Reborn" as a part of the process of transitioning from their birth gender to their prober gender. It's a way to show how far they've come, show the though journey they've been through, and show how they've come out the other side so much happier.
I am extremely honored to be chosen for a commission like this, especially given how personal of a subject things like transitioning can be.
