EDEN is definitely one of my favorite artists and one I feel the most anxious covering, so I'm glad it worked out in the end. :P I don't have a YouTube, but you can find the rest of my stuff right here! I feel like you went after these vocals with more force than you normally do? You sound clearer, and your tone is really consistent in this recording. That sounds like a really strange thing to say, but it felt like you were comfortable and confident, and didn't catch any extra distortion to the voicing on your higher notes...

I just mean that your vocals in this song sound like you worked hard and pushed that dial up another notch, and I just wanted to geek out about how cool that is.

The clarity thing might just be because I actually got a program that lets me fiddle with (I'm guessing) the equalizer of my recording input just before my last recording, so the expensive mic I have can actually perform better than the kind of muddy stuff I've been putting out with it. :P I'm very ignorant in mixing and mastering and anything on that side of the music scene, so yes. I only just figured that part of it out. x3 I did definitely put a lot of effort into the vocals on this one too, tho. The part where it gets high is actually a pitch-shifted vocal line in the original, so the falsetto was entirely an attempt to emulate that, or at least hit those notes. I'm super hyped to hear it went well! :D

The falsetto vocals separates that entire section from the rest of the song, making it stand out in very defined contrast. You dipped in and out of falsetto and back to head voice really smoothly, and that gives the vocals an almost desperate feel, making that entire section very powerful.

I get analytical, 'cause I feel like most commenters don't give much real, helpful feedback. It's great to know that someone likes a song, but better to know that specific things you did helped make a track particularly special. That and I'm just a weird fucking person.

Really nice acoustic cover. I especially liked the first minute and a half-ish and I actually liked the bit around 3:10 more than the original. Very emotional moment. I've been meaning to listen to one of your songs for awhile but then I kept forgetting but I'm glad I got around to it finally!
