Previous | First | NextFeeling happy with herself, having finally freed her body of the chitin armor, Kyera spent the rest of her time around her little apartment, tidying up, then finally deciding to take a shower.
It was weird how the armor-like skin came off without her even thinking it when she bathed, but yet it wouldn't when she wanted it. It took a bit of chatting with her symbiotic other half before she could take it off manually. Once she got that down, everything was perfect!
Everything felt anew! The life she had was still here, but everything felt fresh and new.
"How about we go see an old friend of mines, so I can introduce you to her," asked, speaking to her tail as if she could respond. Watching it nod, she flopped onto the couch and began messaging a friend, one that had been pretty close. "Oh, she's going to love my new looks! Can't wait to surprise her!"
