imnohbody, you are correct. The 'hate water' aspect is primarily for the domestic cat, and is largely based, in my experience, on the amount of grooming they have to do afterwards, to dry themselves. I know a number of cats that enjoy it, and one in particular belongs to my niece. Her cat takes showers with her.
