🎈 The "Balloonimals" as they were called, were made in a factory called "Tender Tot's Toy factory" As part of a huge project of making sentient life into their toy products. Known for making inflatable and balloon characters, they switched to making these animals as part of a big project to create the next new "pet" an animal that did not need much care feeding and drinking wise, did not need to defecate or go on walks and waste parents time. And the toys were a huge success! But of course, as cooperate greed took over, the factory began to cut corners creating these sentient balloon creatures, thus more mistakes had been made, and with it, came defected balloonimal creatures. Ones with missing or deformed limbs, lost sight or smell, those who did not fit the bill to be perfect were tossed into cages inside what had been known to the defected loons as the "Dark Room" Where they were kept hour weeks upon months, until collection day was to arrive. People would arrive and stuff some into bags, others being restrained by tools and brought to the recycling room to be popped, melted down and recycled to make more toys, a sad fate for those less fortunate. It wasn't under a few later that Nidlax (Now known simply as Harvey) would start his new job there, a good samaritan only concerned for the safety of the loons after rumors spread outside of the factory of their misdeeds. he would sneak into the dark room and steal the defected loons, smuggling them back to his home that steadily became an orphanage for those loons without homes. but also while he did that, his friend, a giant lizard man named Halakai, was helping out in his own way by working towards getting the place shut down for good. While they work on these things, a colorful assortment of loons now wait, looking for a good home. Let's have you meet some of them!🎈


Bippy....Oh little Bippy. Bippy out of all of them seemed to have received the worst treatment during the times of the dark room, a bright soul nearly snuffed out by another's merciless cruelty. Bippy had been in the Dark Room for a few months before collection day, keeping the other loons spirits high by singing and dancing, despite his own inner fears about being in this place. He was created with latex that was too thin to be considered proper, and thus meant that he had to be tossed aside like many of the others there. But one day his singing and dancing became powerful speeches to try to rally the other up to fight back against the guards that imprisoned them there. but as collection day came, he had been the only one brave enough to take the charge, to try to fight back when no one else could. Of course.....it Ended in failure. He had been easily swatted aside and grabbed, squeezed until his limbs had popped and then crushed under a heavy boot the rest of him. Collection had started as Bippy lie on the floor, motionless, barely clinging to the smallest bit of air left within him. But that had also been the day that Harvey was making his rounds, finding Bippy clinging to his last breath and gathering a few of the others before taking off back to their home. It took Halakai and Harvey over 9 hours to piece the loon back together with spare latex patches and pieces that Harvey stole from the factory. but they had done it, they had done the unthinkable and brought Bippy back from the brink of death, but at a price. Bippy was weak, his skin frail and spirit broken from the traumatic experience. It was a struggle to walk for years, and Bippy lived in a constant stain for pain for a long while. But as years have gone past, it seems that the patches have finally set and merged with his latex, and he is being able to move more and more each day. once depressed, he seeks solitude with his best friend max, and slowly, his warmth and happiness is coming back to him. Easily one of the worst cases at the factory, Bippy now lives a happy life. He is still not ready to be put up for adoption, but he hopes one day someone will choose him to take him home.
