Well, I did a lot of thinking about it recently, and I've changed around a bunch of crap from that first draft. I've done some deeper thinking about the series plot and the world, and I think this might be a better start.

So, in short, Maiden M is my mech series, and it was inspired by a dream. It's now also got another inspiration, which to put it shortly, involved me getting excited about what I thought was a series with a catgirl piloting a mech. :V I dunno if it was, really (I don't think it was), but I thought that was something necessary, so I went and turned Wendy into a catgirl. I don't think it comes through very well in this chapter, but we'll see. If nothing, I didn't want to make her annoyingly end every sentence in -nya or something.

So, I don't expect anyone to actually go back and compare the two. But as always, any and all feedback is appreciate. :3
