So... you might have noticed i went through many designs for the Harpies.

I... always found them a bit "lacking in something".

And that something was that none of them looked like "A proper monster that could still somewhat function in a society if they behaved."

So. I asked to her lady, mother of all properly mannered monsters,  Forgess, to help me make a version of the Harpy i always had in mind, but i lack the skills to put on paper.

The result is moving.

I named her Arke Dougenis.

As usual "nomen omen" but this time a plausible name for an Harpy, greek origin and could actually be found among real greek people (in theory).

"The first, born in slavery".

Other meanings could be: "Eagle" or "The Swift" or "Messenger of the Titans" depending on which origin you take for the name (they are, apparently, all Greek meanings for "Arke").

Surname always means "born in slavery" apparently.

The surname ties with my RPG setting where Harpies were created to be weapons in a war and then once the war was won... "Meh, okay, set them free"... and left to fend for themselves.
