I was delighted when we came across a vendor at BronyCon who had a pile of genuine animation cels from My Little Pony tales!
This was an MLP I never saw with my own eyes but it is definitely very good. especially if, like me, you grew up in the 90s.
Something cool to note is how the one with the microphone in the image, Melody, is voiced by Kelly sheradin. Kelly sheradin is who most now know as today's Starlight Glimmer.
What also appealed to me, due to research of how the characters looked, is how Clover and Patch are in the image. There is one more but I don't recognize her off-hand. However having Patch, Clover, and Melody are definitely a big win for me. Plus it was just $20 and included the inking cel!
Anyone who watches MLP Tales may notice some episodes that get redone in Friendship Is Magic. Though most is like watching a time capsule for all the references made to big issues at the time of its creation. In particular the views on adoption and pollution. Plus hearing about how cool a cassette-deck and use of a corded phone are certainly memorable to anyone who used these to rock out and keep in touch with pals. :)
My son, daft Chicken, took this picture of the cel for me after helping to find a proper frame, putting into the frame, and hanging it up for me. Woop!
want to watch MLP Tales for free? There's a great app known as Tubi TV that I've used to watch it, the original series, Birdz, and other shows you may not otherwise find. It's accessibility is a tad on the poor side but the free selection is worth the hassle. :)

Oh, definitely! Once I knew how to get them I started to collect those I could.
I have two from the 80s "Care Bears" and one of Yoshi from "Super Mario World". I really, really want one from the original The Land Before Time but they are ultra-expensive.
I also got a signed, limited-edition lithograph of a water-color that Rod rodecker, the inspiration behind the show Dragon Tales, did that was when he genuinely painted Cassie, Ord, and zak & Wheezie.
All of these cost me no more than $30 each, including the above, but I love having them.
The downside is that, two years ago, I lost the rest of my physical eyesight. However it doesn't take the value of my collection away. I don't need my physical sight to appreciate and show my love for the arts and those works that have influenced me. :)

My parents have had a cel from the Care Bears. I believe it was from the opening of the original show, where several Care Bears are holding paws and dancing.
I recall the slice-of-life episodes of FIM reminding me of what I’d heard about MLP Tales.
It’s amazing how many shows lost to time can easily be watched now. Instead of just more channels, the internet has fundamentally changed the way we watch TV.

Most definitely. Though, at the same time, there is definitely a lot of quantity over quality. It is also far harder to keep younger children away from content that is not yet ready to be processed by a brain not yet ready to comprehend the nuances, double-meaning, etc. of content better understood by an older audience.
YouTube is a bane and a boon for this. You can find a lot of great things there you may not find otherwise. Unfortunately some rather vulgar material related to children's content can be found, too. :(
It's hard, as a parent, trying to get a kid to understand so many things his less-restricted friends find and talk about. Though, as with anything, you take the good with the bad. *Shrugs*

There’s a lot of material aimed at children that I wouldn’t want anyone to see, including myself. Therefore, I don’t expect a TV to babysit my children in the first place. Conversely, there may be some material for adults that I actually find suitable for many children.
My own work may be officially for 7 and older, but I may feel that much of it is also an appropriate teaching tool for little children. I try to teach good values without overly sanitizing my material. After all, reading the Bible to children means making them read some of the scariest and most shocking things.
Conversely, I want happy entertainment, and it makes me feel guilty to watch something that is depressing without feeling uplifting.

Very interesting. In your statement about something depressing also being uplifting you hit the nail-on-the-head for what I felt while watching the anime, Fullmetal Alchemist. This show really hit on some heavy traumas while also showing how remaining determined to yourself and your family can get you through almost anything.
You are right about The Bible. There is definitely some scary things in there. Fortunately most who share its word know how to speak its words without instilling fear to the point the moral lesson is lost.
I wonder what the very original version of The Bible was like? I know it has been tampered with through the centuries by merchants along with clergy who sought to justify actions in which were very against what the key players in God's story was meant to empart.
God is what allowed me to better know going blind would allow me to rise as a stronger person. I knew it was God's Will that my sight would be taken. However I also know it was also intended to help me to help others in their struggles. I feel I became a far kinder, thoughtful, and helpful person as I lost my physical eyes.

According to the Book of Matthew: “...upon this rock I will build my assembly, and gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” God has promised to preserve his word for all who want to hear it.
You should find that the archaeological evidence gives a Bible extremely similar to the King James Version. The Old Testament has even more archaeological evidence, since it’s far older.
Jesus does not accuse the Israelites of failing to preserve God’s word. He accuses them of refusing to learn what it teaches.
Such were those who tried to Biblically justify kidnapping people for slavery: They had a book condemning kidnapping — but they wanted to follow their own greed and hate.
Nowadays, glasses are so easy to get that it’s easy to forget that blurry vision used to be a severe limitation. Without glasses, I might get headaches all the time, and I might have been forced to do only work where my eyes can be close to everything. Maybe it won’t be long before replacement eyes become standard treatment.
In fact, there is such a thing as bionic eyes, though it’s very much a work in progress. Here is a Wikipedia article about these devices: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_prosthesis .

I liked how each episode had a song that allowed to really bring the primary idea of the episode together. It was great for showing in 11 minutes what would normally, if not more, take 22. :)
It's neat when you think how we are well aware of run-times for programing. Episodes of FiM are all 22 minutes. This means you get 8 minutes of commercials on Discovery Family. Weird when you think how much time is given for bringing in the bucks.
I liked the 'bumpers' they had in MLP Tales, too. The one-liners were cute and a great way to know we were back to the show. American TV has seemed to stop this but I do like how Anime kept it going. The 'bumpers' provided a way to know when the commercial came and left. Then you didn't get surprised when the show just started back up after the commercial break. :)
