I'm finally back to drawing again! Starting it off with an illustration of these characters I designed yesterday. I already have a whole story planned for them and I can't wait to share it. Not sure if I will write it, illustrate it or make a visual novel out of it. Either way, it's gonna be a fun project. Some info on the characters:

The Zora is named Zaris. He's a young adult who's the leader of a rather feral Zora clan called the Dead Reef tribe. They're a small clan consisting of warriors who mostly keep to themselves. They're way more in touch with their animal side than most other Zora, which is why they're generally avoided by other people. Zaris has a short fuse, but he's smarter than the rest of his tribe and he doesn't get involved in fights that he deems unnecessary. He is extremely protective over Enu, the Hylian, however, and doesn't hesitate to strike at people who disrespect him. His weak spot for Enu has cost him the respect of his peers. When it comes to romance he's at wits end. He grew up in an environment were romance meant simply 'claiming' a mate, so he's rather awkward around Enu, who consistently flirts with him.

The Hylian is named Enu, like I said. He's in his early twenties. He grew up on a farm and has always been poor, although that never truly bothered him. He's always been a hard worker and he knows how to fend for himself. He is, however, more of a act first think later type of guy and often gets into trouble because of it. He started working for an organisation of 'exotic dancers', presenting himself as a male Gerudo because of his dark skin tone and subtle red hair. This claim made him quite popular among his clients. It's through his job that he meets Zaris, with whom he falls in love and he decides he wants to be Zaris' mate. He decides to stay with Zaris and they go on many, often dangerous, adventures together. He's quick to pick a fight, although he has no idea how to fight. Luckily he has Zaris to teach him.
