Making Tezakia Quest and having some newly designed (and in Sekani's case, re-re-redesigned) races reminded me just how generic the poor Ralians had become. They started as kitty-dragons, and failed to stray very far from that despite my previous efforts.

If you've been following the quest, your first thoughts may be "HOLY COW THE RALIAN IS A KI-JAARA". Well, I did kind of channel the way I was designing Sekani's transformations with this, so that's probably to be expected.

The wings are covered in long hairs that aid in feeling air currents and such. Their whiskers also serve this purpose.
The wings no longer have visible bat/dragon-like "arms" and "Fingers".

They are even fluffier! Their ears are longer, but are still quite mobile and expressive.

The tail is a little wider and longer (though the width is not really shown at this angle) so that it can more believably be used in steering while flying.

The Wievi still need redesigns too... hmm...
