Schwarzpelz - Chapter 5 - Part 29
Took a break for the last days of the month, back now.
The pages have kinda been... not working out anymore for a while now. I've once been in a spot
where I felt quite good about how the greyscales turned out and now for some reason I can't
replicate that anymore. So for f-ing 2 hours I've just been sitting here, trying to adjust contrast,
brightness and all that stuff to a point where I'm happier with the result, but it's made absolutely no
difference in the end.
So even though the page itself just took about 4 hours to get finished, I've wasted 2 more hours
doing stuff that amounted to nothing in the end and I just hate this time wasting so much. I
don't like the result and I know that as soon as I start the next page I'll just have the same trouble
again, so I don't really wanna even start because I know it's gonna trap me in that time-wasting
loop again.
Still HAVE TO finish the chapter of course, and then the rest of the story.
Really just wish I could actually enjoy the results of these pages again, but for most of the chapter
it's mostly been a feeling of "meh... gotta try to do better next page I guess."
Anyway, hope you still like it

As for your greyscaling...I honestly cannot tell the difference between that and your old work. Like others have said you are over thinking it. I think we all believe it is where it needs to be. I think it is just stress and a tad of OCD. Try not to worry about it. Just have fun with it.

I know the feeling and I know how little this will help but, I can’t find anything about the art style that bothers me even remotely. I have been down the same road myself repeatedly. I love the comic, the story, even the art style. Just keep doing what you do and I hope someday you can stop beating yourself into the dirt regarding your art.
