Nerull14200 ^^ The Coachman's wording can be about as twisty as a fae's. You can't blame him for being confused.

Arlecchino: *raising an eyebrow* Before... what? As you can see, Il Paese is just as alive and wicked as it has always been. *he gestures at the tents and diversions around them* Come, amico mio, this is no place for you to be wandering. *he leans in and says in hushed tones* You and I will both be whipped if you are seen by the others. The magic of this place must be playing tricks on the mind, eh? Ruin. If only.
Arlecchino: I see... then... that is problematic. *he scratches his chin in thought, then flags down a small boy* Ragazzo! Aiuto, per favore. Questo asino è freddo e ha bisogno di un posto dove dormire. Puoi aiutare?
Alessandro: *looks from Nerull to Arlecchino and back again* Sì. Può venire con me. *he reaches out to pat Nerull's nose* You are cold? I have lots of blankets. C'mon.
Arlecchino: Benissimo! *draping an arm over Nerull's neck and whispering in his ear* Get the boy to let you out at daybreak, and run for the docks. I will meet you there.

Arlecchino: You be good to Nerull, ragazzo. *removing his arm and speaking to Nerull* And in the morning you can tell me all about this Acrathia person. Buonanotte! *he swaggers away, whistling*
Alessandro: *beaming excitedly* We'll be good friends, Nerull. Best friends. C'mon! Let's go home. *he begins to lead the way toward the cottages*

Acrathia: Brilliant plan love, now you and he can go romp off and get discovered by that idiot Mario, or even the coachman! You could have always just gone back to his cabin where Fonso would have discovered him in the morning, but no, this is a far better plan!
Nerull: *Looking mortified at the prospect.* On second thought... Let's go back to your cabin Fonso will find us there in the morning.

Nerull: I know. I know it's scary, this never should have happened to you. It's just that...
*Thinks of how to explain it in the least scary terms possible.*
There are other men out there that want you to stay a donkey. Fonso, isn't like that. He will give you to the magic lady that will help you become human again. I know he will find us in our cabin, where as if we are wandering around, one of the bad guys might find us. Does that make sense?

Alessandro: *sniffs and messily wipes his tears with his hands* We have to go wait for the good guys. Okay. *he still shudders with sobs here and there, but he leads the way back to the cabin. At that point his fingers are just barely pliable enough to unlock the door. Inside are toys, empty pastry wrappers, and a rumpled bed, as one might expect of a young boy left to his own devices*
Nerull: *Once they get inside the cabin, he gives Alessandro a hug... as best he can considering his form.*
You did great. I proimse I'll stay with you until Fonso comes.
* He stays up with Alessandro until he falls. The he trots over to a corner and lays down himself, sighing with the realization that he probably wont make it to the docks tomorrow

Nerull: *groggily gets up. Snaps to attention once he realizes what's going on.*
Ok, this is Fonso. He will take you to the coachman and he will inspect you. Shortly after that Acrathia will come, and Fonso will let her take you. I am going to stay with you as long as they let me...

Alessandro: *brays his response to the knock*
Fonso: *peeks his head in and raises his eyebrows* Two? Well, now. It is not so scary when you have friends, is it? You are both very lucky... as lucky as we can get, anyway. Will you come with me?
Alessandro: *looks to Nerull, just to be sure*

Alessandro: *looks to Nerull, just to be sure*
Fonso: *pausing, concerned* Forgive me, I do not know the language of donkeys. Ah... one moment... I think we might be able to understand each other for a short while... *he picks up his violin and plays a few long droning notes* Now, what do you wish to say? Quickly, per favore, the magic will not last long.
Fonso: *nods and glances briefly at Alessandro* Admirable, amico. If this other person will not have you, I will make sure that you are treated well until we can find a way to put you on your feet. You have my word. *clapping his hands together and standing straight* Now, let us all enjoy the morning, eh? A good walk will lift our spirits.
Alessandro: *snorts skeptically*
Fonso: *sympathetically* Come now, amico mio, this is only as bad as we let it be. The sooner we have you looked over, the sooner you can find the help that is waiting.
Alessandro: *crosses the room and noses at a small wooden soldier*
Fonso: Ah! Vero! We cannot leave him behind, can we? *he takes the toy and pockets it* I will keep him safe until you and I part ways. How is that?

Nerull: *considers how to answer*She'll be nice to you, that I'm sure of. She's certainly nicer than many of the people you'll meet here.
Acrathia: *leaning against a near by tree* Not the most glowing of recommendations love.
*approaches the three of them, rolling a gold coin with a rabbit playing a violin minted on it, between her fingers. Once she gets close she flips the coin to Fonso*
Acrathia: For the boy. Keep it on your person, and you will find that those who listen to your music will be much more forthcoming with their coin. * her expression turns deathly serious* Neither this nor any of the proceeds are to go to the Coatchman! Do you understand me?! None! *Looks to Alessandro with a playful smirk* Lost your humanity have we? Oh that wont do at all! Lucky for you Old Acrathia has a knack for finding lost things. *kneels down to eye level for Alessandro* How about we go find it together?

Acrathia: *Looks to Nerull somewhat irritated* He needs to stay here for now.
Nerull: What?! Why?!
Acrathia *Standing to face him* Four others from your time came to this isle, and I need you to bring them to me.
Nerull: *Suspicious* Why would you need them?
Acrathia: *picking a loose bit of straw from Alessandro's mane* So we can broker a deal for them to regain their humanity of course... although as I understand it one already got off this isle and found his humanity on his own...*appears oddly irritated by this* Pity.
Nerull: What if they can't afford what you are asking?
Acrathia: I can promise you it will be well within their price range, besides what I am after is not going to be coming from them anyway...

Alessandro: *ears perk at the kindly gesture*
Fonso: *removing his hat* Fata, would it be acceptable for me to do this work in his place? I am already resigned to spending the rest of my days in Il Paese. I would happily exchange my services for his freedom. I am many terrible things, but I am not a man who goes back on his word.

Acrathia: *looks at Fonso Appraisingly for a few moments, then gives a mock expression of disappointment.* Awwwww! But I was looking forward to watching him toil as a donkey for a week or two! It's so much less entertaining this way!
Nerull: *really irritated* Look Acrathia; if it means that much to you I will I will do hard labor for you as a donkey all you want, and you can laugh at me the whole time! Just dont leave me stuck here!
Acrathia: *sighs* Ugh! Fine! I suppose I shouldnt have you adding and embedding a child slavery ring.

Nerull: *Fairly relieved* Yeah, it looks like it.
Acrathia: *To Fonso* The clown was willing to help Nerull get off the island earlier. You may wish to speak to him about freeing the others as well. * She gives him a list of those he should gather.* Just focus on getting them off the isle, I'll send him *gesturing to Nerull* to collect them once they are off.

Fonso: I understand, fata. *replacing his hat* I believe I may usher them all onto one boat, but they will not be alone. There will be others who are cursed and men who work under L'Omino. Your friend may need help to... collect them?
Alessandro: *gives a relieved sigh*
Alessandro: *gives a relieved sigh*
Acrathia: *Produces a small crystalline orb and gives it to Fonso.* Hold it close to ones you intend to save. If their fate is set, the orb will flash light softly. If Fate does not have an iron grip upon them, it will not produce any light at all, then you may work to save them. Just because you have this does not mean that you are immune to being discovered. Stealth will still be necessary to pull this off.
