" “Cut back?” Kal asked, raising an overdramatic quizzical eyebrow. "I’m in a bulking phase, I need to eat big to help pack on some mass, you know how it is,” Kal said.

“You’re definitely bulking up alright,” Danny said, pointing toward the lion’s middle. Kal glanced down and saw how his shirt bulged forward out of his torso, following the cascading curvature of a thick gut that jutted out nearly half a foot out of his midriff. It sat heavily in his lap on top of his thighs that pressed together despite the fact they were angled slightly out to accommodate some of his bulky middle. His rear splayed wide across the booth seat beneath him while a set of moobs sloped down over the edges of his belly and toward the sets of love handles lining his sides. Looking down, he could feel a slight compression along the underside of his chin and neck while in the bottom of his periphery he could see the domed curvature of a set of cheeks that jutted out the side of his face.

“It’s just a little bulking pudge," Kal said before grabbing another forkful of savory meat. "
