I decided that Mal's 'pigtail' pods were too plain for my tastes, and ended up giving them kind of an angelic or feathery appearance? I was just experimenting with different design ideas and settled on this one. I think it makes her look even more interesting than before!

I also had recently acquired a lovely, comfy poncho for Christmas, and I loved it so much that I made one for Mal to wear as well.
