For those that don’t know, I own an all bird pet store. It has been a sad week at the store since our mascot, Franklin suddenly passed away last Tuesday. Myself, my one employee and our customers have all been devastated since he was very much loved by all the regulars.

I had his body cremated and I mixed some of his ashes into the paint to create this piece. It now sits where his cage used to be so that he can still greet the customers.

He loved the store and was happy any knew that we all loved him, which is all I could ever have asked for.
