My apologies to the customer, The flag is facing the incorrect direction
The comments on this image have been disabled because it's starting to bother me that out of the people that choose to comment at all I'm attracting commentary about the same thing over and over. Find a more positive hobby folks, the corrections give me the anxiety that I need to be somehow more respectful to an army working for a country that I don't belong to and I think that's super bogus. This is fantasyland, where animal people exist in a variety of settings and contexts that are all an absolute fabrication of the mind. Nobody else in any other military position nor anyone into history takes any time out of their day to explain the accuracy of uniform, armor, or weapons like folks from the USA do on furry art. I'm not drawing a picture that's going up in a military history museum.
I really don't mind drawing military uniforms, guns, whatever you guys are into, but I very much so dislike the conversations revolving around the accuracy of said uniforms or guns. It shouldn't matter if it's accurate. Literally nothing I draw is accurate.

"The regulation states that when authorized for application to the proper uniform the American flag patch is to be worn, right or left shoulder, so that “the star field faces forward, or to the flag’s own right. When worn in this manner, the flag is facing to the observer’s right, and gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the wearer moves forward. The appropriate replica for the right shoulder sleeve is identified as the ‘reverse side flag’.”

Ever met someone in the U.S. Army? This one is drilled into our skulls with size 14 boot during basic training.

Being on the right shoulder I'd guess 25thID, medic signifiers usually go on the left for current assignment as far as I remember until deployed with a unit. On the right would be the unit you deployed with in the past and I haven't seen any medic unit patches going on the right to my knowledge.
His flag is backwards, and his unit parch is not on his left shoulder.
He's also missing his rank, unless his uniform is sewn and he's a E-1 private. But that is not likely since the character has a deployment patch. So he is either out of regs even more, or he recieved UCMJ action and lost rank... at that point I doubt that he would lose rank for no good reason.
If you are more interested in this, it would be unclassified under AR 670-1.
(Edit: His hair should not be touching his ears. He also is missing a name tap on the back of his PC. If he was my soldier, I would fucking smoke him.)

Looks like someone's panties are in a bunch.
If someone is gonna mimic the United States Army OCP uniform. They might as well get it right.
But then again, if the owner of the fursona ever attempt to utilize the facade of the personification of a military soldier to gain any form of pleasure, profit, or personal pleasure, it can be considered a form of stolen valor.
But, that is to the absurd. Kudos to people wanting to be cool like the army. If they want, they are always welcome to join, and become a civil servant of the nation.

No worries. The person deleted their comment anyways.
If the artist wishes, I'll delete the whole string. I doubt that they need to know the regs for a living anyways. It was fun showing some furry work to some coworkers today for a change; hidden as a test to see their recognition of uniform dress code.
Thank you.
