Yuri-7, a xenodiplomat, has a soft spot for tales of high adventure, which means his assigned human assistant--one Polly Jupiter, retired space ranger--can keep him entertained for hours. He actually wears clothes and things when not being subject to design exercises. The frilly things at the end of his "hair"? Nutrient-nabbers and thing-filtrators. And yes, his angler thingy does indeed glow.
Haven't finished working on this guy, but the two images on the rightmost side of the thinger are the most accurate. It's pretty damn tricky trying to do the "no mouth, no nose, head crest, tentacle hair" dealie without making it look like a Protoss, but I'm tryin', man, I'm tryin'. It's fun working with blatantly alien physiology but still trying to aim for an emotive and charming design!
