Best part is, this was always an exploit/oversight that they turned into a "feature" after they stopped enforcing their 1280px cropping rule. Which was dumb in the first place because this is an artistic media website.
So instead of updating their website to allow full res uploading, they literally just told us to use the exploit for full res.
