I haven't had rats in forever. Maybe I should consider some again.

I have two that are the same exact colour! Bug is brown & white and Honey is white.

Cute! Are they the same kind of rats as Gizmo and Gremlin? That is, will Cream and Mocha grow up to be as big as they are?

I got these two at a local pet store that was going to 'get rid of them', because they were relocating and didn't want to take the animals with them.

So they're fancy rats, but they're not bred very well - I can tell. Mocha has some scabs on her back because they apparently had her caged with an older, meaner female. She plays and gets along fine with Cream - who was her other cage friend.

I didn't want to just let them get fed to something, or destroyed, because people were lazy. Plus I did want newer babies that weren't pups.

They'll be quarantined for 3 weeks, and then I'll probably move them into the rat mansion. The rat babies I put my name down on should be able to go home with me in a month and a half. So once I move these two, two new infants will be in the tank. =3

That is very sweet and awesome of you to adopt them, especially considering Cream and Mocha's unfortunate situation at that pet store. You're a hero to rats everywhere, Mir. :)

And i broke my lease agreement lol.

Can't have more than any two animals at a time.

I'll just say i have a multi'headed gerbil.

LOL! Well, hopefully the living arrangements for your new rats will work out okay.
