Second in this current set, sixth in the series, by the impressive
shonuff44 of his lovely character Hula Girl.
Hula Girl's hips and backside have settled back into the sucking sands as she manages to right herself, looking more and more worried as her leaves float on the surface around her, and she seems to be finding nothing around herself that is solid enough to grab hold of. She seems to be watching the quicksand drip from her hand, perhaps taking note of its qualities, and if so it would seem she is not happy with what she sees, nor to implications of being upto her hips in stuff like this. It would seem her skull bikini top shares her concerns. On top of that it certainly looks like her left arm may be stuck in the sands behind her, certainly cause for further concern, if she has noticed that quite yet, as she does seem otherwise preoccupied at the moment.
I adore the way her leaves are spreading and floating on the surface, along with the tips of her hair. Her posture and depth and great, really showing off her bare midriff and her lovely chest, and her worried looking skulls. The positioning of her hand and her fingers as the sand drips from them really gives a great sense of her distaste for the feelings of the sand upon them. The sand continues to look great, so thick and sandy looking, how it ripples and moves around her, outlining her floating leaves, and the darker, wetter, sands around her, churned up by her struggles, contrasting the lighter sands beyond. Her expression really drives this image home though, her eyes clearly watching the sands drip from her fingers, one brow raised, the other furrowed, as she bites her lower lip abit,… all give a sense of the Paradise Defender is truly understanding that this sandy trap, seemingly seen as a bother in earlier pictures, may be a lot more treacherous than she first thought, and that is certainly not a good realization at this depth.
