"Blip!" A test chamber door opened up, waking the dark wolf up. Still groggy, he took a while to get his bearings. White tiles and solid color walls suggested he was in some kind of a science lab. His attention was quickly diverted towards little blobs of goo, yellow and blue, sliding on top of the floor. Something inside of him suggested it was best to avoid these. And so he did, slowly getting up and making his way out of the room, determined to find an exit as fast as he could. At first, the little blobs didn't seem to mind the wolf. It took them a while to realize he was not made of goo like them, but of fur. Multiple blue and yellow ones were attracted to the creature, sliding in closer to inspect it. The wolf had a bad feeling about touching them. The only way he could avoid them was to continue moving forward and look for answers.
He entered another room. Everything indicated this was the place where the blobs originated from; sticky, slithery walls, large strands of slimy substance dragging from floor to ceiling, weird squishy noises from every direction. He knew he couldn't stay here for long, his best course of action would be to just run through, quickly getting across to the exit. A few deep breaths later, the wolf was dashing across the nest, skipping multiple feet with every jump. He did his best to avoid any puddles or substances. But he was not destined to succeed, as he found, when his paw landed in a rather large blue puddle. He had miscalculated and now found himself stuck, as the slimy substance was eager to keep him in place. Nothing helped; kicking, jumping, pulling only produced loud squishes and drove the wolf closer to exhaustion. Every little movement only dragged him in, with the substance letting his paws sink deeper, before starting to bind to his ankles. He had nowhere to go, but that wasn't his only problem. His squirms had attracted the attention of the little blobs, who were now slowly sliding in his direction. He had just started this adventure, surely this couldn't be the end? "Hello? Anyone here? Get me out of this... whatever this is!" desperate, the night wolf shouted for help, hoping someone still remained in the facility to hear him. There was no way he could get out himself and he knew it well. The goo walls shook, awakened by his screams. The whole room was aware of him, and he had fallen into a rather lazy trap. Something rumbled all around. Inch by inch, string by string, something was leaving them. Two shapes from different sides of the room, forming into fluffy beings, were just about visible. "Woah, uhhh, hey, could you get me out of this mess?" anxiously, the night wolf waved at the creatures. They were his only bet at freedom. There was no response. Only squishy steps as the shapes closed in. A partially goo-covered lamp managed to light one of them up. A blue wolf, seemingly dripping with the same substance off the floor was coming in close. Something in his paw, possibly sharp, that could help get away. "I’m so glad, you’re here to help. I really appreciate it!" The night wolf sighed in relief as he looked at the creature approach. However, the object in its paw was no knife or scissors. It raised to reveal something that resembled a mask. Indeed, the same shape was now visible on the wolf's face, as he made his way to the victim of the prisoner. "Wait, hold up. What’s that for? Just get me out of here would ya?" the night wolf began to sweat without even feeling it. He had a really bad feeling about this. Silent and solemn, the blue creature was coming in close, mask in hand, that the night wolf understood was meant for him. "I just wanna go home. Just let me out of here please!" he pleaded, while starting to kick his paws desperately, but every movement just sent more and more slime on his thighs. His flailing was soon stopped, as something grabbed hold of his arms. A warm, wet feeling rushed over his hands, as they were held by the yellow paws of a goo dragon. The night wolf whimpered as he was trapped, his hands moving in captivity of the airborne creature. "I-I'm not one of you! Let me go!" The two only smiled at him, forcing his heart to sink. He mask was rising towards his face, as the dragon held him firmly in place. The wolf could only try and move his face away. His heart was racing faster, as the mask closed in. Even that escape was soon prevented, as strings of blue and black goo attached to his cheeks. There was no getting out now: his legs were trapped in a mountain of slime, which was also dripping down on his arms from the dragon. He still knew he had to fight it, but as goo colored his cheeks black, something inside of him advised to enjoy the last seconds of his mind being free. Once the mask attached, the goo spread quickly. His face was covered in seconds, most features buried under a warm layer of latex. It penetrated into his body, changing it to become like his new brothers. His paws were no longer stuck in the floor, but one with the floor. Even the dragon seemed to calm down, letting him go, only leaving yellow spots on his arms, where his paws had been. His tail, dripping with goo was happily wagging in the air. No longer in captivity, he was free to leave. But why would he leave his home? This is where he belonged and he knew it. The two goo creatures smiled happily, having taken the wolf into their warm hivemind. They still had some time to enjoy each other's company, before returning to slumber, waiting for the next victim together.
