For something you haven't drawn in a long time it still looks good =D
It's always nice to see something made by you pop-up in the messages ^^
being "gone" and "back" are such words that can't really be applied in my opinion.
Because it's just internet, we come and go as we please ;P
In fact, I find it really good of you that you can live without it ^^

Very nice. Beautiful anatomy, and the lighting effect is quite stellar. Yeah, yeah, I know, that was a bad pun...stellar = stars. Hurr. But seriously, it is rather incredible, considering the relatively primitive tools at one's disposal in oC. As far as you not being happy with it, no artist is ever truly happy with what they do. Creation involves self-criticism to no end. In fact it is one of those cliches that is actually quite accurate; the self-criticizing artist. Don't for a second think you're alone in that, but at the same time, don't for an instant think that continually NOT doing any art is gonna somehow make you ultimately feel better about it.
I speak from experience. I miss doing art, but I can't bring myself to ever get back to it. I started drawing enthusiastically at teh age of 6, and by the time I was 14 I was doing pictures put the artwork of people 8 years my senior to shame [as they would actually tell me]. Then a bunch of drama made me stop. I'd go back to drawing but the experience that happened kinda traumatized me from ever wanting to pick up a pencil and start sketching anything ever again. It's silly and it's stupid and I know it but I ain't doing anything about it and I can't help but feel the creative part of my mind is totally miserable.
