Alright, this one gets some explaining. This is concept art of an idea that the owner had of a mirror world, after seeing an image of renamon behind glass with accompanying dialogue that implies that she's real, and that only that person can see her.
This is my least favorite image of her, not because of the quality, because the art itself is great, but what the art is depicting. Even while I know the backstory that this is the human looking through the mirror and seeing the love of his life trapped behind cold glass, unable to touch her and only able to talk to her, I still can't shake the interpretation that it wasn't the original owner projecting himself as a human who thinks of himself as Sally.

He doesn't project this to real life. Or, at least, he hasn't admitted it or anything. This is concept art of anthros being trapped in a mirror realm, able to be loved, conversed with, and appreciated, but never touched. I didn't get the idea that he actually believes this to be the case or anything.
I think a lot of us are seeking the same thing; some do it through visual art works, and some of us write about other places and people to experience an ideal life subjectively outside of the reality we often feel trapped in. This visual work could be interpreted in a couple of different ways in what the original artist had intended, but I would like to think it is left to us as the viewers to create and idea based on what we see, think, and feel about it. With the previous works with Sally with her Mate, I think they both found a way to breach the mirror barrier to be together. What a story that would be.
