My best friend died last year.

I didn't even know he was sick and he wasn't that old.

He was the greatest and I'm not just saying that out of respect.
He was a gentle giant, never did a thing wrong.

I had a nasty fall and lost all my confidence.
I didn't think I'd ever find a horse that I felt safe on again.
Then Blobby arrived.
I was terribly nervous when I first saw him because I was quite small at the time and he seemed so big!
When I went in his stable he smelt me and nudged me gently.
He looked at me and I knew he wasn't going to hurt me.

I've never had a bad ride on him.

The last ride we went on couldn't have been more perfect.
We galloped accross the feilds, without a care in the world.

When I left you that evening, who thought I'd never see you again.
I promised you a carrot, I hope you got the one I left on your grave.


Rest in Peace, Brother. I'll see you again soon.
