Jick is a kobold, a small dragonlike creature known for being extremely timid and easily intimidated. He chose to set out on a journey after a mishap with his clan, and found himself in Pine Falls, where he started living on the streets. As somebody with no actual concept of money or the value of objects, Jick has a habit of picking up random trash and debris that he finds, in the hopes that eventually he'll find a buyer for, say, a sturdy hunk of wood or a warm can of soda with the plastic ring still attached. While most of what he gathers is literal garbage, he does have a few patrons who pay him for the service he provides -- whether he intends to or not, he's keeping Pine Falls clean and tidy!

Of course, he is still a kobold, and as such tends to idolize dragons. Luckily for him, there are at least two in town, and luckily for both Jeena and Alys, he's more than happy to provide any service they desire from him. Of course, Jick outright refuses any form of compensation for this work, insisting that "The honor of serving a dragon is good enough for me."
