DragonQuest: Redux!
Okay I am currently working on Chapter #7 of "License to Spell" but things are a little slow because at the same time I am also drawing pages for Chapter #1.
Confused?
The first several pages of the original comic were done on small 8.5" x 11" paper which lacks the proper scale as well we hadn't settled on a proper font size. If you look to the corner of the image here, you can see the original page in comparison and the improvement in the artwork made possible by a large page to work on.
Well we decided to go back and redo the pages in preparation of the launch of a complete treasury of the first half of DQ:LTS as an ebook to be released through Fool's Moon along with assorted art and comics of Long-Mai and Rosie. No release date is currently scheduled, but if I can get all the work done in time, I may have cd copies at Furry Equinox in Toronto in early March.

I also notice a little change in Rosie's design, the nose went from 'cute little button' to 'Orkish pignose (but still small and cute) and the lower lip filled out more and added the tusks.
Also it looks like she's gone up about one cup size since then and now, or perhaps it's just 'that time of the month' and she's retaining a little extra water up top.

I likely won't be selling them through Drivethroughcomic.net because of their adult content though I may make the Adamoria Girls comics available at some point as a CD, along with additional art and stuff from that I was going to put out as a stand alone CD project a couple of years back but never finished because the project ended up being much more frackin' work than I originally anticipated.
Well, I'll sell the disk as well. As for a dead tree press... well that's up in the air. Fool's Moon isn't yet equipped to do large scale DT printing yet. Maybe a deal might be struck with Radio Comix if the buyer base was there, which I'm not sure if it is.
