Once a student with aspirations to be the first kobold appointed to the Imperial Mages' Council, Glitz grew close to his tutor, learning everything they had to share about arcane magicks and eagerly attacking every assignment he was given. When the tutor revealed to him the part they intended the star student to play in their ascension to power within the Imperium, Glitz obliged, committing crime, fraud, and acts of atrocity under his wicked master's guidance with nary a flicker of remorse. Unfortunately, the tutor's lust for power eventually led him to commit a fatal mistake. Though he begged and pleaded with the authorities after his swift capture, and bargained his arcane experience for a spot in the Imperium, he was sentenced to slave away in the mines.

It was there he met Vile. As the ebonscale terror's influence grew over his enslaved kin, Glitz found himself drawn to a new master. A sycophant through and through, he pledges his vast (if sporadic) intellectual resources to Vile's cause with renewed fervor (and a fresh streak of cruelty), in exchange for the chance to reach heights of power the Imperial Mages could only dream of!
