The Safeguard Initiative
「Planet Tal. Shigu Dukedom. Sometime within the Modern Era」 The pride and joy of the Royal Biome Laboratories. Beyond the domed viewing windows, The Safeguard Initiative stands tall in the background as scientists go on about their day to day lives. The Royal Biome Laboratories were once a humble scientific research facility, however, it has grown over the decades into a fully-fledged, sprawling megastructured city.
The Safeguard Initiative was born as a response towards the ever-growing Talyxian menace. Lead and nurtured by the efforts of Chief Scientist Kon and his team.

This features both the Shigu Nature Science labs, also known more colloquially to Shigu denizens and supporters of the Dukedom as "The Royal Biome laboratories" and the Safeguard Initiative, my very own fancanon branch division of the laboratories themselves.
