Got a bit sidetracked while working on a friend's belated birthday gift and came across someone who was publicly requesting fan art of one of his characters. Not usually one to oblige to taking requests due to limited time and cruddy...er, limited drawing abilities, opened up GIMP and started playing around with his character nicknamed Page for some extra practice and additional much-needed inspiration. He's a mysterious vigilante apparently who hails from Spain but now lives in Chicago as a hired criminal, skilled in the arts of acrobatics and martial arts, known for his vintage sombrero/poncho combo and being a collector of various knives. Believe it or not, this was all digitally sketched in GIMP, unlike my usual method of starting out first with a pencil and paper...hence the somewhat "cleaner" look of the lineart. One of my few times really drawing an "original character" and one of the few really drawing someone else's character. It's a bit on the chibi side, considering I suck at drawing humans. Took quite a long time between last night and tonight, but it seems Kyle-Voakes enjoyed this when he saw it.

Cruddy and lame like usual, but what else is new?
