'It's been awhile, i always take my time to visit this place whenever i can. It's still there, looking up at the cloudy sky.
This large unit was created when they found an effective way to explore the space. After the first unit's takeoff, they
then built this large dog-like unit that acts as a multipurpose machine such as detecting the shuttle's signal and
communicating with them. It is installed with an artificial intelligence that acts like a benevolent assistant with the undying loyalty of a dog.
Thing was going so well until the event happened leading to the end of the shuttle. Pretty much everything else i think. Can't remember what happened back then but surprisingly the machine still operates. It keep counts of the days that they have been gone. It sings happy birthday to the pilot and the crew on board. It tells them the condition of the surrounding. Facing the unforgiving weather until it rusted and now while still functioning.
The power gradually disappears, keeping it's cheery but crackling dying voice. It calls out to the pilots in the shuttle, reminding them that the crew back on the planet misses them because they've been gone for so long.
I cannot communicate with the unit but i always sit next to it. Trying to atleast provide some resemblance of company to it... The power panel beeps red... it's going to call out one last time. I'll be here.. it'll be alright...

Hello everyone,
I hope you enjoy this art along with the story that goes along with it. I'm experimenting a little bit this time and trying to do a style that i have never done before. Surprisingly i think i'm quite proud of this one. I might be trying to experiment more in the future and we'll see how it goes. As for the inspiration for this picture you might find it quite funny or rather sad, so i opened back my Animal Crossing : Wild World game and just go back in there, the village is in a whole disarray and grass is growing everywhere but the villagers i love are still there. It brings back a really painful bittersweet nostalgia if you ask me haha.
