Now we come with another fight and I think for my first time of drawing Count Dooku, he came out well. And the way he talks in this I can see it being exactly how he would sound and act.

Chapter 55: Against a Sith
It had now come time to launch the attack. The plan was simple; use cover provided by the Kessoline to hide movement as well as use as many of the vehicles as possible to catch the enemy by surprise. Air support would be use to take care of any aerial enemies and provide support. The clones also were moving in as well. They all knew that the best thing was to hold out until the reinforcements arrived. They had to be careful as there was material that could very easily blow up and cause more problems than solutions. “Looks like we’re all ready,” Huraz-Alaz told Nicholas after receiving the report from one of the clones.
“As soon as we begin, there’s going to be a lot of backlash from the enemy,” he stated with a frown. “We just need to hold out.” The human took a breath. “Begin the attack.”
The Nelvaanian gave the signal and the clones began to move out. Laser fire quickly erupted as while the droids hadn’t detected the Republic Forces, they were quick to recover. The Jedi saw their troops were going to need help and jumped in along with the Vulptex with them. Their lightsabers were flashing and humming, deflecting every laser shot at them. The male and female then ducked behind some rocks. “How’s it coming?” Nicholas asked in his communicator to his captain.
“We’re in a stalemate!” came the reply. “Neither of us are able to move forward!”
“Just keep holding out!” The call was cut.
“This could turn either way,” Huraz-Alaz commented. “Maybe we can turn the tide in our favor so more will survive.”
“There’s risks,” the human said. “We’d have to go into the mine and Dooku might be there waiting for us. Let’s wait a bit longer and see.”
The two went back into the fight, trying to push the droids back. It seemed like nothing could touch the Jedi as they fought side by side with the clones. Then the two saw that even more droids were coming out of the mine and ducked behind some rocks again. “Damn it,” the human snarled. “It seems the enemy’s got more forces than we thought.”
“They really don’t want to lose this,” the Nelvaanian growled.
“Looks like we have no choice but to head in there and stop them from sending out more droids.” Nicholas contacted the main fleet to see about the reinforcements that were being sent. The reply stated that they were traveling now. But it would still be some time before they arrived.
“Let’s go,” the male human said, calling the Vulptex who were with him to his side by call from his mind using the Force. She did the same thing and the four joined the Jedi. The Nelvaanian spread the word to his and her commander to let the troops know what they were doing. There were a few clones who could come along and met up with them near one of the entrances. Looking showed this had been here long before the Separatists had set foot in here.
“This one might connect to the mine we want,” Nicholas said.
“Sir, what if it doesn’t?” one of the clones asked.
“We create our own.”
They quickly went inside. While the clones used the lights on their helmets to help see, the Jedi used their lightsabers. The Vulptex went ahead to scout as these guys were used to the caves on their native planet and knew how to get around such places. “Good thing we have them sir,” another clone said with amusement.
“Diamond, Gen, Shadow, and Dianna are very helpful,” Huraz-Alaz replied. “I’m really glad we met them on that day.”
“I know I was against having them at first but I quickly warmed up to them,” Nicholas commented with a grin. “It’s hard not to.”
Just then the Vulptex returned, looking a little agitated. “What is it?” a third clone asked.
The four beings went to their Jedi masters, getting behind their legs. “I think they may have found what we’re looking for,” Nicholas stated. “Keep your guard up.”
The small group rounded a corner and made it inside a much larger area. It showed signs of recent activity. Huraz-Alaz’s ears twitched. “I heard something coming,” she whispered.
Everyone found cover and peeked around their hiding spots. They saw some droids heading here. They looked around the area. “No intruders here,” one of them said. “Move on.”
They then moved away and the Jedi with their clones came out. “The enemy might know we’re here,” Nicholas said softly. “Tread carefully.”
They all went forward, seeing the pipes that ran things from electricity to steam along the walls. Then after some walking, they made it to a main area that had droids for mining here. “What’s the plan?” one of the clones asked.
“To stop the production without blowing anything up,” Nicholas replied. “Me and Huraz-Alaz are going to find the main control area.”
“Let’s move,” she said.
The two Jedi and the Vulptex found a place they could go that would take them up to the main area. They were on guard as they rode up. They eventually made it to a room that was large and round. There were control panels everywhere and even a place that had large pipes attached to a pillar in the middle. And standing in the middle was Dooku himself. “I sensed you coming up here,” the older male human replied. “I suppose I should acknowledge your bravery for doing so.”
“Dooku,” Nicholas stated sternly. He looked to the Vulptex and signaled them to get back. The Sith Lord turned to face the two Jedi, his hood coming down.
“Interesting,” he said. “I had heard of two Jedi with four beings such as those by their sides. Ventress and Durge confirmed this to be so.”
“Is that so?” the younger human replied. “Then you must have heard from them how me and Huraz-Alaz were able to hold our own. Hell, even against that Chiss agent of yours; Sev’rance Tann on Geonosis before we were Knights.”
“It seems all of this has made you arrogant,” Dooku replied, drawing his Lightsaber hilt. “Allow me to show you first before I end your life.”
“You’re welcome to try,” Huraz-Alaz growled and activated her blade as did the younger male human. “You’re facing against two.”
“Numbers don’t mean a thing to me.” The Sith Lord activated his weapon to.
Nobody moved for a few seconds. Then an object came flying out at the Jedi that was sent by Dooku using the Force. The two Jedi rolled out of the way and Nicholas went in. The Sith Lord calmly deflected the blows with one hand behind his back, the other holding onto his Lightsaber before knocking the younger Jedi back. Huraz-Alaz then came in and the older opponent just moved back. “You disappoint me,” Dooku told her. “I thought you two were better than this after what I heard!”
He struck a few blows on her. “Surely you can do better!” he taunted.
Nicholas used the Force to launch an object at the Count who sent Huraz-Alaz back and sliced at it with his weapon. The younger human smirked. “It seems you two are a bit more skilled than I first thought,” the older enemy said.
“You’ll find we’re full of surprises!” the long-haired human stated and struck back, switching his blade in a reverse grip and even to his left hand. Dooku moved and was able to after some blows disarm Nicholas. The Sith Lord struck down but the younger Jedi rolled out of the way. Dooku launched a Force Push that sent Nicholas flying back towards the pillar.
Huraz-Alaz came in and she was sent flying back hard. “Perhaps my agents were wrong about their reports,” Dooku said. Just then a Force Pull came out of nowhere and sent the Sith Lord back some feet into the pillar in the room. He looked up and saw Nicholas had jumped up there and was hanging from the pipes. “Impressive…” The enemy struck and the younger human moved his body out of harm’s way so the blade only got some of the pipes. These broke and steam of some kind began to pillow out of them. “Most impressive…”
Nicholas flipped down and before Dooku could react, the young male human shouted and directed one of the steamy pipes at the Sith Lord. The older human grunted as this steam blinded him for a second and caused him to step back. Nicholas called forth his fallen Lightsaber from the ground and struck. The Sith Lord managed to move out of the way, backing up as both Jedi closed in. “I see now,” Dooku said. “I see now that my agents were telling the truth. It seems I’m dealing with some Jedi that are very skilled and powerful at such a young age. Such a shame you’re on the wrong side.”
Huraz-Alaz snarled at the Sith Lord. Nicholas spoke. “You can take the Dark Side that has corrupted you and blow it out your-“
“Insolent child!” Dooku shouted. He whipped out his non-weapon hand and shot Force Lighting at the two. The long-haired human deflected the blow with his blade. It was tougher than the last opponent who had done this but Nicholas had grown stronger since then.
The lighting stopped. “Not bad at all,” the male said. “Wanna try again or perhaps you’d have better luck with Huraz-Alaz?”
“Your mouth has run on long enough,” Dooku stated dangerously.
Just then something hit the mine, causing the structure to shake. “They’re here,” the Nelvaanian said. “Our reinforcements.” She and the Jedi with her directed their blades towards the Count. “Well, shall we continue or will you run away like always?”
“This place can no longer serve its purpose,” the enemy replied. “Very well. I will retreat for now. Consider yourselves lucky. Next time we meet, you won’t be. And sooner or later, you’ll fight against someone who you can’t hold your own against or beat. You’ll see…” The enemy launched more Sith Lighting at the two at greater power to distract them along with sending objects at the Jedi. The two deflected all of these while Dooku made his escape. The mine began to also come apart and explode in some places. The two Jedi and their Vulptex managed to get out along with the clones that had come in with them. This battle had been won and despite having to face Dooku, the two young Knights had done well to hold their own until more forces came. Another victory for the Republic had been obtained.

May the actor he played him RIP. The Count will be missed.
