"What do you hope for?"
No, not starting another comic idea.
I have had this in mind for a while now, and if I don't get the ideas out of my head they tend to dominate my thought processes. Not to mention they help me to deal with things.
Tired, playing with lighting...Hope the dialogue isn't too wonky.
In fearful day, in raging night,
with strong hearts full, our souls ignite!
When all seems lost in the War of Light,
look to the stars, for Hope burns bright!

Hrm, I do like the detail with the lighting, So what are you going to do one for each lantern? 83 be a bit interesting to see the "others" responses to obtain...

I like how you did the split face in the last panels, it really shows a unique dynamic between things. At first we see him and think he is happy to have found this thing, and then we see that he's not so happy but seems to be desperate for the power to protect the hopes of others. Really nice and a lot of emotion in it.
