Driftwood was made for a D&D campaign that was going to take place on the high-seas, which fizzled out and never got past session 3.
He was tabaxi swashbuckler, with a custom 'courtesan' background for added fun.
I use a theming for tabaxi names, they all use song names or lyrics. So, Smoke's full name is "Smoke on the Water" from the song by the Blue Oyster Cult.
Continuing the theme, Driftwood's name comes from the Moody Blues song of the same name. In full, his name is "Driftwood on the Shore" which is the full lyric of the reprise from the song.
I ended up getting stuck on his appearance design, when I found myself browsing the new posts here on FA. Ookami12345
had posted this serval adoptable and he was just perfect!
The outfit is based on a simple Swashbuckler I found on the internet, mixed with the THIRD Doctor, John Pertwee's outfit (the ruffled shirt and cloak)
