Here is a little something I threw together. But of a whim... I have some traces of plans for a sequel or more... but undecided if I'll shelve it indefinitely... got plenty else I ought to be finishing writing. On which note, The next stormblown should be the next thing... I wish I could say it's nearly done, but it's got... a big chunk taken out of it.

This one must have slipped by me when first posted, but I thought it quite interesting and would certainly read another installment. Its biggest fault in my opinion was the notion that it could be possible to have never even heard of a dragon in a world where they are huge, living creatures. Virtually everyone in our world unless they are stone age natives have heard of the Komodo dragon on an island of that name in Indonesia. And without any evidence of even bigger flying dragons having ever lived on our planet, virtually every culture in our own world is familiar with dragons and most have mentioned of them in their religions and myths. It would be quite impossible NOT to have heard of such creatures if they freely flew in the sky of the same continent they live on. Traveling merchants for one thing would tell tales. The story would seem far more believable if the thieves have heard stories of dragons, but not having ever seen something so extraordinary themselves, not even any of their bones, they would naturally be skeptical of their existence, and especially so if the climate in their country was so drastically different, it may be that it was not favorable to dragons. It is easy enough to ignore this though as whether or not the thieves had ever heard of dragons, really changes nothing else. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to a second chapter!
