When I first thought of this idea, I thought, "Oooh! Wow! This is gonna be great!" The more I worked with it, though, the less enamored I become with it.
I still bet a lot of you will think this is terrific, anyway.
Oh, it's not that I hate it, no, It just isn't what I thought I would be is all.
Anyway, here it is.

Hehe, well, I'm of course not familiar with the song this parody gets its roots from; though, that said, I'm not much a...rock person. ^^;
Still, it was an interesting hear. =U
Oh, but for the line: "Who watch the convention unfold"
How bout going with "unfurl" instead? It's a stronger, though not perfect, rhyme with "world" (if that's what you were going for). "Unfold" works as a sight rhyme, but this is a song of course (but I'm sure you were aware of that). x3

i think this was executed rather nicely actually...
an this is a song that i just cant escape... i taught band for 5 years, and the other director i worked with had the band play iron man.
to tell ya the truth. i dont think the original song's all that. especially the drums... they sound like a preteen on a junior pro set. hehehe (the original black sabbath)
this, imo makes it a PERFECT target for parody, and i think you did a fine job!
