Collie and Hybrid
Fall Again
It became September and time for this street fair that was going to happen. The weather had gotten cooler but it was supposed to be a good day for something like it. Nicholas was getting ready in longer layers. The fosky smiled as he not only had the money that could be used for this, the guy was also ready to make sure his girlfriend Natsuki had fun at this. The long-haired male made it to the door of her place and knocked. “Coming!” came her sweet voice in reply.
The door opened and there she stood in a pink top and black pants. “Hey there love!” the Scottish Collie stated happily.
“Hey you,” Nicholas replied and they came in for a kiss. The two pulled back but their arms were still around the other as they grinned from ear to ear.
“You’re looking cute as always babe,” the fosky said rubbing their noses and the female giggled at his actions.
“Sweetie…” They kissed again and then left for this.
The couple made it and saw the street fair was about a mile of booths and other things. “So what first?” the female asked her boyfriend while holding his arm and looking up at him.
“Let’s work our way up one side and down the other.”
“Mmmm sounds like me style I would do love.”
They went forward. Some of her friends and his were here. They did look at some of the things in a big group but mostly kept to themselves with the ones they loved as it was supposed to be dates for individual couples only like they had planned. Then Nicholas and Natsuki were by themselves, talking and laughing. The wind played at his long hair, but her long loose one especially. The male at points would playfully grab it and nuzzle her cheek, causing the female to squeal and giggle. “Nicholas!” Natsuki then said with a laugh after he did this for the fifth time.
“You’re just so adorable I can’t help it love,” he told her.
Natsuki was about to reply when both of them heard the sound of music being played a couple of spots down. “Hmmm?” she asked as it was a rhythmic acoustic guitar.
“That song…” Nicholas said. “I know it…”
“I wanna listen love,” the female told him.
They made their way over and heard the song. Natsuki began to sway to it and the fosky wrapped his arms around her. “Mmmmm…” the Scottish Collie sighed happily, placing her paws on top of his. Her eyes closed, just loving the warmth and being this close to him.
“You feel warm,” he whispered into her ear.
“Because I’m with ye love.”
They listen to the rest of the song like that and knew they had to look it up later to listen to. They then continued on their way. The couple did buy a couple of things from this that they knew would last a long time and be worth it. For eating food, they stopped at one of the local restaurants that were open. “One of my friends threw up after eating some fair food like this,” Nicholas told her when she asked why the choice of eating at a regular place. “So now I’m a little weary of them.”
“I understand,” Natsuki said.
They enjoyed the lunch and then continued down the street. They saw other games of fun and tried one just for the heck of it. There were some booths that they passed over since they offered services like carpeting, roofing, and things like that that the two weren’t interested in. They saw the other people gathered here having fun, even the children. They saw some bands perform here as well as a really good school jazz ensemble one that were high school students. Of course other grades were here as well in the crowds and at some booths. It was finally late afternoon when Nicholas and Natsuki made it back to their homes. “That was a lot of fun,” she said at her door.
“I had fun with you to babe,” he told her. They hugged and nuzzled the other’s cheek.
“So… what’s the plan for next time?”
“Oh I don’t know, we’ll see,” Nicholas replied back in the same playful tone as his girl.
Natsuki let out a small laugh. “Then I’ll wait to see what ye come up with love,” she cooed.
“Well whatever it is, I’m sure you’ll love it.”
“I know I will…” Their noses were touching now.
“Well get some sleep. I love you…”
“And I love ye…” They came in for a long kiss goodbye. Their eyes didn’t break contact the other until she was back inside and the door was closed.
Nicholas and Natsuki did learn the lyrics to the song. To their surprise they could actually hold a tune together and decided to try more songs out just for fun. They had a great time doing so and laughing. But near the end of this month, the fosky brought up something he figured it was time to do. “Oh?” she asked when he told her. “And what is it?”
“I think it’s about time I met your parents…” Nicholas said, a little worry in his voice.
“Oh! That,” Natsuki commented, getting it. “Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I’ve wanted to do the same thing with ye mum and dad.”
“I’m a little nervous to be honest about meeting your old man.”
“Awwwww, don’t worry too much love,” the female told him. “I told ye, me dad would love ye like me mum.”
“I know but there might be that little part of him that might not.”
“Ah don’t let that get to ye love.” Still the two knew it was high time to do so. And this would happen next month before the annual Halloween party that they went to last year which they would go to again this year.
