I finally finished the anime not too long ago (highly recommend it btw! <3) and since anime doggo AUs are a thing I've had a soft spot for that I've been seeing again recently, I decided to make a Yu Yu Hakusho dog AU haha
** No one is any particular breed but I assume those who would be humans are dogs here while demons and those from Spirit World closer resemble wild canines like foxes, wolves, coyotes, etc!
** Kurama has a droopy ear to show that though he was initially a kitsune and still resembles a fox, he's part doggo in his current form XD
** A rule of thumb is that a character's hair in this AU is the same color as their tail, just so things are balanced and no one looks like they're wearing a wig lol
** How would doggos wear clothes and live relatively human lives in this AU? I considered perhaps the same cartoony logic we see in MLP FiM could apply here? XD
** I was gonna add Keiko and Botan here but these six are the ones who really made the show for me, especially Kuwabara. I wish we saw more Botan in the anime though, I liked her ;w; I'll definitely draw her at some point in the future for this AU!
